Florence Airport, otherwise known as Peretola Airport, is located 5 kms north-west
of the City of Florence and is 85 kms east of Pisa. The airport underwent an expansion
and improvement programme in 2006 to cater for an increased passenger throughput.

A bus
service into and from the city runs approximately every half hour during the day,
with a journey time of approximately 25 minutes.
A taxi into Florence from the airport
